Meetings
The Ashfield Board of Assessors meets bi-monthly on the first and third Monday nights at 7 p.m. All Board of Assessors meetings take place at the Town Hall unless otherwise posted. Contact the Assessor’s Clerk for information on the next meeting or to make an appointment.

Purpose
The Board of Assessors shall, in their respective districts, assist the assessors in estimating the value of the real and personal estate in such districts, and in the performance of such other duties as the assessors require. MGL Chapter 41, Section 28
Duties include:
- Property assessment
- Abutter’s Lists
- Abatement and exemption applications
