Election Day Polling Location - Town Hall - Lower Hall open 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Ashfield has one polling location which is located in the Lower Hall of Ashfield’s Town Hall. Town hall is located at 412 Main Street. On street parking is permitted as well as behind the Congregational if the parking space is full outside the building. The polls for the November 3rd election are open from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Early Voting By Mail - Application deadline is Wednesday October 24, 2020 at 5 p.m.
Early voting by mail applications must be received by the Town Clerk Office by Wednesday October 24, 2020 at 5 p.m. Ballots will be mailed from the USPS here in Ashfield and ballots stay local! Completed ballots can be dropped off at town hall in the DROP BOX located outside town hall, delivered in person to the Town Clerk office or mailed.

Voter Registration - Last Day to Register to Vote in the Presidential Election

Are you an active voter?
Before arriving to the polling place to vote make sure that you are already registered. It’s very easy to do online. Once you have registered then you are eligible to Vote.

If you are not registered to vote then here are ways to do get it done so that you may vote in future elections.
In Person - Stop in at the Town Clerk’s office during business hours and fill out a voter registration card.
Online - Click here to register thru the Secretary of State’s voter registration website.
By Mail - Click here to download a registration form the Secretary of State’s website.
Elections
Voting is easy! When applicable early voting is an option open to all registered voters. If you are unable to vote early or are unable to show up to the polling place then absentee ballot is available to you. Whatever the case might be voting in person on election day is still there.
Ashfield’s Annual Town Meeting falls on the first Saturday in May each year. The meeting starts at 9AM EST.

Each year in March the town holds its annual town caucus where Ashfield citizens may be nominated to run for any open seat in town government. For information and results on town caucuses click here.
