Post a Meeting

To post an official meeting, use your current agenda format OR the templates below to create a notice with meeting date, time, location, and an agenda.  Attach the meeting notice document to an email and send it to postmeeting@ashfield.org. These meeting post requests are sent to the town clerk and other staff for further processing and official posting. You will receive a confirmation when the posting has been made. 

Except in cases of emergency, a public body must provide the public with notice of its meeting at least 48 hours in advance, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays. For example, a Monday meeting must be posted by the prior Thursday. We cannot guarantee Friday coverage for postings, meaning that a Tuesday meeting should also be sent in during business hours on a Thursday.

Post content for the website's "News & Announcements"

Email your request with the exact text you would like posted to townclerk@ashfield.org and townadmin@ashfield.org. Once received, it will be reviewed to ensure that it adheres to the town's website policies before it is posted.  You will be notified after it is appropriately handled.


Post a Calendar Event

Email your request with the details (date, time, location, description) you would like posted to townclerk@ashfield.org and townadmin@ashfield.org. Once received, it will be reviewed to ensure that it adheres to the town's website policies before it is placed on the events calendar.  You will be notified after it is appropriately handled.
